Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNO): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the passing away of the revered mother of the eminent and respected religious scholar, Vice President of Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulama Jammu & Kashmir, and Founder and Head of Darul Uloom Raheemiya Bandipora, Maulana Muhammad Rahmatullah Mir Al-Qasmi. According to a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), The Mirwaiz described the late lady as a noble woman of exemplary character and piety, paying her rich tribute in glowing terms. He said that the demise of one’s mother is an irreparable loss for which there can be no substitute. Mirwaiz conveyed his heartfelt solidarity to Maulana Qasmi in this hour of grief and trial, and prayed to Almighty Allah for the departed soul’s forgiveness, elevation in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and for patience and strength to the bereaved family and relatives—(KNO)
